Amy Childs had a miracle escape when she walked unharmed from the wreckage of her Range Rover which had flipped onto its roof
The former TOWIE star rolled her luxury motor outside the Napier Arms pub in South Woodford, east London.
The 24-year-old later tweeted: “I am so lucky to be alive thank you to everyone for your lovely messages, god was definitely watching down on me xxx”.
Amy sat by the roadside as paramedics treated her following the accident at about 10pm.
No other vehicles were involved in the collision. A witness described how the £80,000 Range Rover Autograph Sport was “smashed in” and said that the “front of the car was hanging off”.
The witness also said that Amy appeared to be in “shock” and was “shaken” as she sat on the pavement.
Police confirmed they had been called “following reports of an over-turned car”.
A spokesman added: “At this early stage it is believed that the vehicle was in collision with a traffic light. There are no reported injuries at this time and enquiries are continuing.”
Amy, who is dating AFC Bournemouth footballer Adam Smith, bought the car in 2012.
Known for her catchphrase “wel jel” on The Only Way Is Essex, she spent an additional £80,000 on the WE11 Jel numberplate after getting into a bidding war with a premiership footballer.
She then spent an additional £80,000 on the WE11 JEL numberplate after getting into a bidding war with a premiership footballer.
Since leaving TOWIE she has turned her celebrity into a lucrative business.
She opened her own beauty salon in her hometown of Brentwood in 2011, as well as a boutique selling her namesake clothing range.
Amy has also released her own fragrance, calendar and is a frequent guest on celebrity TV panel and gameshows.
Ironically, Amy posed on a wrecked car with another ‘well jel’ numberplate in a promotional photoshoot for MoneySupermarket to launch their Car Insurance Epic Car Crusher.
