Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, surprisingly prostrated to teachers while at a meeting with principals of secondary schools. Fayose, who expressed his appreciation to the teachers for voting massively for him, also thanked them for staying with him during his eight years in the “political wilderness” and sought their cooperation in governing the state. He spoke at Adetiloye Hall, Ado Ekiti where to the admiration of the teachers, the governor prostrated and rolled on the floor before them. He also wept, being overwhelmed by the love they had displayed towards him. The governor promised that their two months salaries and other benefits owed by the administration of immediate past governor, Kayode Fayemi, would soon be paid. He also promised other benefits that would motivate them.
