Aki and Pawpaw feuding?

Last weekend, the story broke that the long-time friends and colleagues, Chinedu Ikedieze and Osita Iheme, have fallen apart. This comes after Iheme moved out of the house that they both have been living in Lagos. Though, both actors live in the same rented building, they do not share the same flat. The exit of Iheme from the house led to rumours that there is no peace between the funny friends. The story is that Ikedezie owns the building and has sent Iheme packing.

Ikedieze, popularly known as Aki, has, however, reacted to the speculations that he told his co-actor and friend, Iheme, known as Pawpaw, to vacate the house. The actor laughed off the rumour when Box Office sought his reaction, stressing that there was no clash or disagreement between them. He explained that the owner of the property they were occupying said he wanted to make use of the side of the house Iheme was occupying.
Ikedezie said: “We are not twins, I am from Abia and he is from Imo. It’s just that we are good friends. It is not that we are going our separate ways. We are not far from each other.  It is the landlord’s decision that made him leave.” He added that he too might leave the building soon.
Speaking further on his relationship with Iheme, he described their collaboration as “divine connection,” adding that despite their heights, fame still located and smiled on them.
“The coming together of Aki and Pawpaw was a prestige to us and a plus to the industry because we ushered in an unsual way of shooting movies. Before we were discovered, movies were all about witchcraft. The whole thing changed when we came on board. We brought stories that happened to us personally to the screen and before we knew it, the combination became a hot cake in the market,” he said.
