Funke Fowler, daughter of the chief tax man of Lagos State, Babatunde Fowler, appears to have taken a leave from the social scene. Since she celebrated her birthday in August, the ebony beauty has chosen privacy as a companion.
It was an occasion that gave much away about the status of her marriage to Abi Kuku. Everybody that mattered in the social circle was there to celebrate with her except the man with whom she exchanged marital vows three years ago in ceremonies that took place within and outside Nigeria.
Many parties have been thrown by other silver spoons which Funke did not attend. People who are close to her say she has been busy with her business, flying around the world to upgrade her upscale fashion boutique, Leila Fowler
