Innocent Ujah Idibia known as 2face is one pop star who loves to break new grounds in music. The African Queen sensation yet again broke new grounds with his Ascension album both locally and internationally.
In a chat with Showtime recently, the top crooner spoke about the album and his relationship with Kennis Music ”The ears of Nigeria

ns have been tuned to a particular kind of sound but this album doesn’t follow that pattern.
That’s me, I don’t like to follow the bandwagon of anything. The album is not really something you can play in the club at once, it’s for matured minds.”
Regarding his relationship with Kennis Music, his former Record Label, the singer says, ”It’s been ten years since the release of my first album, Face to face under Kennis music.
They are celebrating the 10 years anniversary of that album and it has been re – mastered .That is what I and Kennis are working on right now. I have a working relationship with Kennis Music, but I am not under Kennis music. I am under Hypertek.”
