Showing off material things on social media is no more a new thing in the entertainment industry. While some have criticized it, others simply don’t see anything wrong with it.
Over the time, celebrities have blasted their colleagues who do this without any positive change.
2011 winner of Big Brother Africa (BBA), Karen Igho, has lashed out at celebrities who show off their assets on the internet. This came after Five Star Music artiste, Harrysong posted a picture of him lying on some Naira notes in his room.
Karen advised her colleagues to learn to be humble since they act as role models to many people.
“Showing off on social media with all the material things you have, will that take you to heaven? People look up to you, be humble, you get the latest hair, latest clothes, shoes and bags and cars to impress people who don’t even like you, Ask yourself, is it worth it? She asked.
