A rapist who lured a vulnerable student to a flat before attacking her has been jailed for six years.
Henry Thomson, 53, had found the woman alone and unwell in Aberdeen city centre after she had been on a night out with friends.
He offered to take her to his girlfriend's flat where he raped her.
The High Court in Edinburgh heard Thomson had 48 previous convictions, including a number for assault and breach of the peace.
His victim told how Thomson "kept saying he should not be doing it" while he attacked her.
Thomson had denied assaulting and raping the woman at the flat in Constitution Street, and lodged a special defence that any sexual contact was consensual.
A jury found him guilty of rape.
