Daniel Radcliffe might not have hung up his wand just yet, as the Harry Potter star has scored a role in the sequel to 2013′s Now You See Me. The premise of the movie centres around a group of illusionists called the Four Horsemen, who use their magic shows as a front to pull off a string of bank heists.
Michael Caine, Jesse Eisenberg, Morgan Freeman, Mark Ruffalo, Isla Fisher and Woody Harrelson will all reprise their roles in the sleeper hit, according to Den Of Geeks who confirmed the rumours that Dan Rad is dipping his toe back into the world of magic. Daniel is believed to be playing the role of Arthur Tressler, the son of the legendary Michael Caine and joins Lizzy Caplain (Masters Of Sex) and Jay Chou (Green Hornet) as the newest additions to the cast.
Slated for release in 2016, Summit Entertainment have already released a premise for the sequel: “One year after outwitting the FBI and winning the public’s adulation with their mind-bending spectacles, the Four Horsemen resurface in Now You See Me 2 only to find themselves face to face with a new enemy who enlists them to pull off their most dangerous heist yet.”
