Cancellation rumors have been plaguing 106 and Park since original hosts AJ and Free left nearly a decade ago. But the rumors have now turned to facts.

On Friday, BET announced that after 14 years on air, the show that brought us AJ Calloway giving Janet Jackson a lap dance and Free getting her catwoman on with Halle Berry, is moving to a new home: online.

That’s right. 106 and Park has been somewhat cancelled. After December 19th, fans will no longer be able to tune in via their TV because BET is taking the show off the air and on the Internet.  Stephen Hill, BET’s President of Music Programming and Specials announced in a statement that the show was transitioning to the digital space to give fans a more interactive experience.   It’s hard to tell if the show’s host Bow Wow knew in advance and how he is taking the news. Shortly, after the announcement, he removed all mentions of BET from his social media profiles and posted on Facebook:

This is what happens when people who don’t know nothing about the culture try to get involve in everything and be the center of attention. Always running up for a selfie always in the mix. Stay your ass in the office. You ever see Jerry Jones trying to suit up?

All drama aside, you have to admit that the show had a pretty good run (even beating out MTV’s TRL in ratings), and produced some noteworthy television moments!

Catch our top 12 moments from the show below:

1. AJ Calloway Gives Janet Jackson A Lap Dance
Miss Jackson if you nasty! Janet must have had AJ feeling some type of way the day he decided to throw that leg up and give her his best rendition of a lap dance right on that 106 and Park couch. Mind you, it was her first time visiting the show. We all sat back and really didn’t know how to feel while watching that interesting performance, but one thing is for sure- we watched. (Video of this moment is nowhere to be found on the internet!!!!)

2. Terrence J Proposes to Janet Jackson | Janet feeds him strawberries

Before he was a fly guy on E-News, he was a shy guy on 106. During his first year as a host, Terrence J had a chance to fulfill his childhood crush my proposing to Janet Jackson… with a “Ring Pop.” And it was funny as hell. As he got on one knee, he said “Janet, you make the hair on the back of my neck stand up, and even though I’m broke, in case Jermaine [Dupri] doesn’t do it. Will you marry me Janet?”

Lawd! During her next trip to the show, she fed Terrence strawberries so heck, he did something right!

3. Bow Wow and Tyra Kiss
“You tryna do the remix?” Who could forget when Bow Wow and Tyra shared an on-camera kiss on that 106 and Park stage? And that wasn’t the first time. The flirty duo kissed on The Tyra’s Show months before that. We guess it was so good they had to pick up where the last kiss left off.

4. Rocsi Walks off Stage
Remember when Terrence went in on Rocsi during an entire show and home girl finally exited stage left? Yeah, we do too, and can we say ‘Rude!’  During each segment, Terrence pointed out every mistake that Rocsi made, and even asked her at one point, ‘Why don’t you have a body like Ciara’s??’ before Rocsi decided she had had enough and walked off. For weeks to follow, Terrence and Rocsi would host the show separately with different celebrity guests as their co-host. We even thought Rocsi was on her way to being replaced. Eventually, Mario (the singer) read a sweet apology note that Terrence wrote to Rocsi on air, and all was forgiven.

5. Jay Z visits 106 and Park with Beyonce and Solange (excuse the blurry pics)
In 2003, Jay Z visited 106 and Park to promote his new single “Bonnie and Clyde” and during the interview, AJ Calloway asked him, “What Makes Beyonce Bonnie?” This was before the couple ever went public and people only speculated that they were together. Jay laughed it off and said, “You should get a Barbara Walter’s job,” before responding, “She’s a gangster, she’s a professional.” Later in the episode, Beyonce and Solange (who was premiering her new video for “Feeling You”) joined Jay on stage.
