A man accused of allegedly fondling two boys inside a southern California restaurant pleaded not guilty Thursday to committing lewd acts on a child under 14. Kwan Yven Chow, 31, was taken into custody Monday after police say a mother and a manager bolted through the mall to chase Chow down. Police say they were able to detain him until mall security arrived.
The Arcadia Police department says officers were dispatched to the Westfield Mall for sexual battery against a minor and security had Chow on lock down when they arrived. The incident allegedly occurred at the Dave & Buster’s, inside the bathroom. A 10-year-old, according to police, told his mother he was touched inappropriately by Chow.
Through the investigation investigators said they learned of another victim who was reportedly fondled only days before at the same location, also reportedly by Chow.
It’s possible there could be more victims, this according to police. Investigators say they are working to continue their investigation against Chow and want to hear from anyone who may have had inappropriate contact with him.
Chow is being held on $200,000 bail.
