Omu Resort to Investigate Omo Akin Animal Attack

OmoAkin
Yesterday, Linda Ikeji broke the news that Omo Akin was attacked by Animals at Omu Resort. The management of Omu Resort are going ahead with investigations, determined to get to the bottom of the issue.
On Tuesday, October 4, 2014, OmoAkin’s management Star Nation released a statement claiming that its act had nothing to do with the story circulating around social media.
“To Whom It May Concern
Our attention has been drawn to the post making rounds social media relating to our Artiste “OmoAkin” in regards to him being attacked by some wild animals in a reputable Resort in Nigeria.
We will like to point out that nothing of such happened and in fact the pictures circulating with the post was taken from an Halloween themed set on the scene of the video shoot to his recently released single “IJO OLOTI”.
We have spoken to the management of the resort in question to straighten things up.  We will also like to state categorically that such news was not released from our camp (Star Nation).
We urge everyone to please disregard such news and focus on the good music from our artiste and label. Anticipate the video to the Smash hit single “IJO OLOTI”.
N.B
Any news or statement in regards to our artiste will be released Officially.
Thank You,
Management.”
Omu Resort has reacted to the statement acknowledging that OmoAkin and his management have contacted them saying that they did not release the story to Linda Ikeji, and the pictures were from OmoAkin’s video shoot.
The management of Omu Resort has however resolved to investigate the publicity stunt which they believed was capable of destroying their reputation.
“We are at a loss as to how such stories that are capable of destroying a multibillion naira business such as the resort and the career of a budding artiste, OmoAkin, came about. The source of this story and the reasons behind publishing such must be thoroughly investigated by the Nigeria Police force because it’s purely criminal. As early stated, our lawyers are working closely with the Police and we are working to get to the bottom of where the story emanated from.
For all those that are peddling innuendos that the resort might have used this as a publicity stunt, who in their right mind would risk a multibillion naira business on such cheap publicity? As indicated, the Police is investigating the matter and arrests are been made as we speak” read their press statement.
