A thug who fled from police was shopped by his parents ... after he arrived home wearing handcuffs.

Dean Thomas, 20, was detained after being thrown out of a nightclub in the early hours of last weekend and punching a police officer in the face.

Thomas claimed he was an innocent bystander to a fight inside One Central club on Central Street in Manchester city centre and had been hit over the head with a bottle by door staff.

He became aggressive towards police when they reviewed CCTV and said he had been 'lawfully ejected', a court heard.
